DESIGNING THE BRYANSTON

We are excited to provide you with an exclusive sneak peek of our upcoming project, The Bryanston. The luxurious residential development is located in the heart of London, a stone’s throw away from Marble Arch station and Hyde Park. We aimed to create a space that embodies contemporary elegance and refinement. In this month’s newsletter, we want to take you on a journey through the design process.

THOUGHTS BEHIND THE CONCEPT

Taking inspiration from the view from the generous windows over Hyde Park, Taylor Howes proposed using untreated natural materials to showcase the materiality and bring life into the apartments. Paying homage to the architect Rafael Viñoly’s vision for The Bryanston that the resident’s health and well-being is at its core, our concept will use biophilic connections by bringing the outdoors in. Like Viñoly we will enhance the owner’s lifestyle through design. With the architecture somewhat nodding to futuristic, uber-contemporary luxe, the schemes will have a hint of celestial, vibrancy and emphasise the beautiful natural light.

THE STORM BY ROCK & SOAR

As part of the team’s nature-inspired concept, we looked to Rock and Soar and The Storm collection. “Storm” is inspired by the mesmerizing and intricate patterns of colour and texture that form when warm air rises above the Earth’s surface, creating cumulonimbus clouds. These clouds produce an array of colours that are reflected and diffused during dramatic storms, resulting in a breathtaking display of colour wavelengths across the sky. Rock and Soar suspended an array of glass sculptures to create a chandelier that replicates the earth’s dramatic skies during a rain storm.

BESPOKE LIGHT INSTALLATION – ANDREEA BRASCU

Our team of interior designers and procurement specialists invest a significant amount of time in building strong relationships with a diverse range of highly skilled craftspeople and designer-makers. This enables us to o^er our clients a wide range of both o^-the-shelf and bespoke products, ensuring that every detail is taken into consideration. The Bryanston design team collaborated with Andreea Brascu to create a unique light installation for the client’s living room. The design concept was inspired by the natural world, which was an essential theme in the initial stages of the project. Andreea’s inspiration came from the idea that every leaf on a tree is distinct, yet together they create a pattern that allows each leaf to capture the sunlight it needs to grow and flourish. This concept resonated well with the Hyde Park home.

BESPOKE FEATHER MIRROR – BEAUFORT ARTISANS

Bespoke craftsmanship lies at the heart of our design ethos. We take immense pride in curating exceptional, one-of-a-kind pieces that seamlessly harmonise with our clients’ homes, elevating their living spaces to new heights of elegance and individuality. Beaufort Artisans’ masterful touch imbues each feather with a sense of ethereal beauty, transforming functional elements into captivating works of art. These custom creations are poised to become signature features within the interiors of The Bryanston, adding a touch of unparalleled sophistication, personalisation and are a further nod to our nature concept. We can’t wait to show you this piece as part of our final design.
