CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME BY ARABELLA YOUENS

Arabella Youens takes a look at how Interior Designers are giving back through their charitable initiatives. We are delighted that Country and Town House featured Rest Nest – a cause very close to Karen Howes heart. Rest Nest is a charity for nurses and is in development to expand and grow in 2019.

“I hope this this will be part of a bigger picture,’ says Karen, whose own daughter is training to be a nurse. ‘Nurses do the most amazing work, it constantly blows me away. If they have somewhere comfortable to relax – especially on difficult night shifts – they can be more focused on their work, which, in the end, benefits everyone.’ The story does not end there: Taylor Howes has further plans to expand the concept in 2019.”
