01/12/23NEWS FROM THE STUDIO
A brilliantly busy end to our 30th year includes the completion of our newly revamped studio at Cheval Place. This beautiful space gives the team’s creativity and imagination free rein while offering our wonderful clients an insight into the Taylor Howes approach. We’re incredibly grateful to all the partners who supported us in transforming the space.
On the Journal this month, we’ve shared advice on choosing artwork for your home from our valued partners at Vessel Gallery and Helen Chislett, while the teams at Phillip Jeffries and Holly Hunt take us behind the scenes in the world of wallpaper.
We’re also looking ahead to 2024 to forecast exciting new developments in fabric, lighting and furniture design.
TAYLOR HOWES STUDIO REFRESH
To mark our 30th year, we’ve completed a beautiful transformation of our studio at Cheval Place. The new space features custom-designed furniture by GMS Joinery, upholstery and cushion fabrics from Dedar, wallpaper from Phillip Jeffries and artwork from Tanya Baxter Contemporary, among many other wonderful pieces. We’re also delighted to showcase the Betty Hang, part of our collection for Urban Electric, in our new boardroom.
A big thank you to all our partners who kindly donated their time and products to support this process.
2024 TRENDS IN FABRIC, LIGHTING AND FURNITURE DESIGN
Taylor Howes’s approach to interior design is encapsulated in our motto, ‘True Design for Living’. We work closely with our clients to craft beautiful interiors that endure and evolve.
While our interiors are timeless as opposed to trend-led, we are careful to monitor new developments and innovations to deliver cutting-edge design for our clients.
As 2023 draws to a close, we consulted some of our closest partners to look ahead to the new year and predict what’s coming up in the world of fabric, lighting and furniture design in 2024.
HOW TO CHOOSE ARTWORK FOR YOUR HOME
Choosing artwork is a vital stage in the journey we undertake with our clients at Taylor Howes. We know how personal and powerful a piece of art can be, and we’ve developed longstanding relationships with partners to select pieces that not only enhance our designs but that our clients will treasure forever.
On the Journal this month, experts at Vessel Gallery, Helen Chislett and Tanya Baxter Contemporary share their advice on navigating this complex process.
THE WORLD OF WALLPAPER
Wallpaper is a singularly impactful way to add character, texture and colour to any space. While it might be having a moment right now, wallpaper’s appeal has endured for centuries. We caught up with some of our close partners to find out what’s new and coming up for 2024 in the world of wallpaper.
